Drew Schrum is the next up-and-coming actor and producer to hit the entertainment industry, winning Best Actor awards, landing 500 million viral views and voicing national campaigns.

Currently, Drew stars in the newly released suspense drama short film, Decrescendo, available on Amazon Prime. The story follows Benjamin, an avid music lover, who reluctantly arrives to his estranged family’s mansion for an imposed lunch. As the tense get-together moves forward, he progressively and inexplicably begins to lose his hearing.

A multi-talent, Drew gained major attention on the festival circuit in 2019 for writing and starring in the psychological thriller short, YOU or ME. His portrayal as a man suffering from split personality disorder earned 9 awards and 8 nominations, including ‘Best Actor’ wins at Los Angeles Film Awards, Actors Awards, Top Indie Film Awards, Top Shorts Film Festival, Cult Critic Movie Awards, and Eurasia Film Festival.

Drew also went viral alongside Ralph Macchio with over 500 million views starring as a Bully who gets the karate chop he deserves in a promotional prank video for YouTube Red series, Cobra Kai. Audiences will remember a stripped-down Drew from the ‘Dreams’ episode of the educational Netflix series, Brainchild, executive produced by music mogul Pharrell Williams. And for those listening carefully, Drew can be recognized voicing numerous commercial campaigns, including Peloton and Wrangler.

Based in New York City, Drew didn’t set out to have a career in entertainment. Born in Colorado, his family life was not a simple one. He moved often, living in several different states. He was first introduced to the world of performing arts by his uncle, a professional ventriloquist and artist. This sparked a desire for acting and storytelling that Drew never gave up and would eventually lead him to pursue in New York City, believing “Acting is my passion, but I never want to get caught doing it.”
